Viking receiver Percy Harvin told reporters on the first day of mandatory minicamp that he hasn't "been real happy lately" and that a lot of things need to be sorted out before training camp begins. Harvin reportedly has now requested a trade. The trade request in not expected to be granted. Harvin has 2 years left on his 5-year $12.05 Million rookie contract. He didn't go into detail as to what his issues with the team were but did say it was multiple things.

The Minnesota Wild signed goaltender Josh Harding to a 3-year $5.7 Million contract extension Tuesday. Harding would have become a unrestricted free agent next month. The 28-year old Harding has been a backup throughout his NHL career behind 34-year old Niklas Backstrom. Backstrom is entering the final year of his contract and will turn 35 in February.
