St. Joseph Police Chief Joel Klein is presenting a sexually oriented business ordinance on tonight (Monday), in hopes that it can combat a rise in calls for sex trafficking in Central Minnesota.

A St. Joseph woman was hurt after crashing her vehicle near Albany over the weekend. The incident happened at about 6:00 p.m. Friday night at the intersection of County Road 10 and 390th Street in Krain Township.

With temperatures in the low 30s it was a sunny but cold day today (Saturday) for those running in the Lake Wobegon Trail Marathon. Steve Pekarek of Royalton finished first by coming in at just under two hours and 40 minutes.

Crews responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash west of Waite Park this (Thursday) afternoon.

You may see several squad cars and activity around St. Joseph tomorrow (Friday), but don't be alarmed. The St. Joseph and Waite Park police departments and the Stearns County Sheriff's Office will be conducting a training exercise with the 367th Army Reserve Battallion.

A North Dakota man was hurt in a crash in St. Joseph earlier this (Sunday) afternoon. The state patrol says the incident happened shorty before 3:00 p.m. on the Highway 23 at the Interstate-94 overpass.

Nursing students at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University are learning and practicing their medical skills in a new space.

The search is over for a buyer for the current St. Joseph city hall and police station building.

After the news just last week that Country Manor is planning to bring a large senior living facility campus to St. Joseph, a second senior facility is being pitched to the city this week. In a letter to City Administrator Judy Weyrens, owner Tom Opatz is proposing a 45-unit senior living apartment building called "Fortitude Senior Living of St. Joseph".

The St. Joseph city council has approved updating an environmental review for the proposed site of a senior living facility. The facility would be off County Road 121, west of Kennedy Community School.
