The St. Cloud State women's hockey team tied 2nd ranked Minnesota 1-1 Tuesday in St. Cloud. Minnesota took a 1-nothing lead in the 1st period before SCSU tied the game at 1 in the 2nd with a goal by Addi Scribner.

The St. Cloud State women's hockey team defeated Bemidji State Friday night at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center 5-2 to improve to 4-1 on the season. The Huskies will host the Beavers again Saturday at 3 p.m.

The St. Cloud State women's hockey team is ranked #15 in the nation in the latest USCHO.com Division I poll. The 11-10 Huskies are coached by first year head coach Brian Idalski. Idalski joined me on WJON. He has an interesting resume that includes coaching 10 Olympians, 26 national team members from eight countries.

The SCSU women's hockey team skated to a 1-1 tie against Bemidji State on Friday.

The St. Cloud State women's hockey team is finally returning home after getting stranded on the East Coast because of superstorm Sandy. The Huskies played a pair of games at Providence College in Rhode Island last weekend, and then got stuck there as they waited for the storm to pass.
