After falling short in their comeback attempt in game 1, the St, Cloud State University Baseball Team (22-8, 14-5 NSIC) came alive in the eighth inning of game 2 to earn the split at Joe Faber Field.

The St. Cloud State University Baseball program has developed into one of the best in the Northern Sun Conference and division 2 baseball.

The St. Cloud State University Softball team (18-12, 2-2 NSIC) came from behind twice in same day to sweep Minot State University.

The St. Cloud State baseball team saw their season come to an end after a 5-4 loss to Winona State in the NSIC Tournament.

St. Cloud State is off to a 3-0 start this season after beating No. 25 ranked Concordia-St. Paul in dominating fashion 34-3 Saturday night.

Starting in 2012-2013 the NSIC will split into 2 separate divisions for men's and women's basketball. The decision came at the NSIC meetings held at the Kelly Inn in St. Cloud this week. The North Division will consist of St. Cloud State, Bemidji State, MN-Crookston, MN-Duluth, MSU-Moorhead, Minot State and Northern State.
