MnDOT road crews will begin preparing for a major pavement replacement project on Highway 10 Monday. The work will prompt lane closures and slowdowns between Clear Lake and Big Lake.
It's not quite fall yet, but Minnesota snowplow operators already are getting ready for winter. The Minnesota Department of Transportation opened a two-week training program for snowplow drivers Monday at Camp Ripley near Little Falls.

A road resurfacing project begins on Interstate 94 between Albany and Collegeville tomorrow. The $5.3-million project will cause lane closures from just east of Albany to Stearns County Road 159 in Collegeville until about mid-November.

If you travel along Highway 55 near Paynesville, you will encounter some slowdowns starting next week. MnDOT is will be resurfacing Highway 55 between Stearns County Road 66 in Paynesville to just east of Highway 4 in Meeker County.
Road work on Highway 10 north of Little Falls starts back up Monday now that the government shutdown is over. Crews will resume resurfacing of Highway 10 between Little Falls and Cushing.
