The Minnesota Wild defeated Edmonton 4-1 Tuesday night. Minnesota scored 3 3rd period goals and surge in front. Martin Havlat, Kyle Brodziak, Jared Spurgeon and Pierre-Marc Bouchard each scored a goal for the Wild. Bouchard added 2 assists and his goal in the 3rd period was a spin-a-rama. Spurgeon's goal was his first NHL goal.

The Minnesota Wild lost 2-1 in an overtime shootout Sunday afternoon against the Detroit Red Wings. Todd Bertuzzi scored the game-winning goal in the shootout. Martin Havlat scored the lone Wild goal and Niklas Backstrom had 38 saves. Minnesota was outshot 39-26. The Wild played without center Mikko Koivu Sunday because of a broken finger.

The Wild lost their 2nd straight game 3-1 at Chicago Wednesday night. Matt Cullen scored the lone Wild goal and Jose Theodore had 34 saves for Minnesota. The Wild were outshot 37-34. Minnesota is 30-22-5 and with 65 points are 3 points back of the last playoff spot in the Western Conference.

The Vancouver Canucks downed the Minnesota Wild 4-1 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul Tuesday night. Cal Clutterbuck scored the lone Wild goal in the first period to tie the game at 1-apiece. Vancouver scored twice in the 2nd period and added an empty net goal in the 3rd period.

The Minnesota Wild snuck by Colorado 3-2 Wednesday night. Martin Havlat, Antti Miettinen and John Madden each scored a goal for the Wild, Matt Cullen had 2 assists and Niklas Backstrom added 23 saves. Minnesota is 28-20-5 and with 61 points are 2 points back of Calgary for 8th place in the West.

The Minnesota Wild edged the Colorado Avalanche 4-3 Thursday night in Colorado to move into a 7th place tie in the Western Conference. Andrew Brunette scored 2 goals for the Wild and Pierre-Marc Bouchard added a goal and an assist.

The Minnesota Wild shutout the Los Angeles Kings 1-0 in an overtime shootout Tuesday night in their first game back after the All Star break. Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored the lone goal in the shootout. Niklas Backstrom had 27 saves to earn the shutout in net for the Wild.

The Minnesota Wild won at Chicago 4-2 Tuesday night to go into the All Star break on a high note. Chuck Kobasew and Pierre-Marc Bouchard each had a goal and an assist and Martin Havlat and Antti Miettinen each scored a goal for Minnesota. Niklas Backstrom had 31 saves for the Wild.

The Minnesota Wild defeated the Calgary Flames 6-0 in Calgary Wednesday night. Martin Havlat led the Wild with 2 goals and 1 assist and both Cal Clutterbuck and Chuck Kobasew each scored a goal and added an assist.
