Wild Blank L.A. Kings 1-0 In Shootout
The Minnesota Wild shutout the Los Angeles Kings 1-0 in an overtime shootout Tuesday night in their first game back after the All Star break. Pierre-Marc Bouchard scored the lone goal in the shootout. Niklas Backstrom had 27 saves to earn the shutout in net for the Wild. Minnesota was outshot 27-25. The Wild are 26-19-5 and with 57 points are just 1 point back of the 7th and 8th positions in the Western Conference. The Wild will play at Colorado Thursday night at 8pm, pregame on WJON at 7:35.
