Justin Morneau singled in the tying run before Ryan Doumit's sacrifice fly scored Josh Willingham from 3rd base to put the Twins ahead. Matt Capps allowed 2 base runners but converted the save. He blew a save the day before against Detroit.

Justin Morneau was 3-5 with 2 homeruns and 3 RBIs and Joe Mauer went 2-4 with a homerun and 2 runs scored. Morneau has 8 homeruns and Mauer has 2 homeruns this season. Brian Dozier hit a 2-run single for Minnesota.

DeVries is a Eden Prairie, Minnesota native and attending the University of Minnesota.
