A national right-to-die group has been fined $30,000 for assisting in a Minnesota woman's suicide in 2007. Final Exit Network was convicted in May of assisting the suicide of 57-year-old Doreen Dunn, plus a lesser charge of interfering with a death scene.

St. Louis County authorities say a 50-year-old man has died after a gun accidentally discharged and a bullet hit him in the abdomen. The St. Louis County sheriff's office said in a statement Monday that deputies responded around 6 p.m. Sunday to a home north of Duluth in Gnesen Township.
