A Grove City man has been arrested for allegedly having methamphetamine. The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says they arrested 32-year-old Erik Malmquist yesterday (Wednesday), after going to his home for a probation visit.

A fire damaged a townhome in Cosmos on Thursday morning. The Meeker County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened just after 11:15 a.m. at 370 North Neptune Street. Neighbors smelled smoke and saw flames coming from the front door of the townhome.

An old, unused dairy barn was lost in a fire Wednesday afternoon. The Meeker County Sheriff's Office was called out to the property at 17567 590th Avenue in Greenleaf Township at 3:40 p.m. When authorities arrived, the barn was totally engulfed.
