The man who was fatally shot by an off-duty officer after stabbing nine people at St. Cloud mall this weekend had worked as a security guard for one of the stores in the mall.

The Avon Police Chief has released a brief statement on the mall shooting that happened on Saturday night. Chief Corey Nellis confirms Officer Jason Falconer is a part-time police officer with his department, and has been an integral part of the department for many years.
