Horse racing fans came dressed to impress at the Kentucky Derby Party fundraiser on Saturday.

Both casual and hardcore horse racing fans are looking forward to the 150th running of the Kentucky Derby.

The Kentucky Derby odds were determined this week and Zandon is 3 to 1 odds to win the race. That makes Zandon the favorite. Zandon is owned by Jeff Drown and Jill Vouk-Drown from Clearwater, Minnesota.

This Saturday is the biggest day of the year at Canterbury Park in Shakopee - and they won't have a single live race. Spokesman Jeff Maday says they'll have between 10,000 and 12,000 people come out to place a bet on the Kentucky Derby - the first jewel in horse racing's Triple Crown.

Gov. Mark Dayton is traveling to Kentucky this weekend for a meeting of the Democratic Governors Association where he also has plans to take in the Kentucky Derby.
