Students at Foley High School have spent the day today (Wednesday) learning about potential career options. School Counseling Intern Aaron Goulet says the students picked seven sessions, from a wide variety of options.
Foley's police department is still in it's infancy, but the chief says things are going well so far. Chief Brant Standridge started his new position on June 9th, becoming the city's first full-time chief since the old department was disbanded in 2003.

Three Benton County deputies will lose their jobs. The Board of Commissioners voted today (Tuesday) to eliminate their positions in an effort to trim $260,000 from the Sheriff's Department budget.
