Several employees at a Foley based packaging company are expected to be back at work after inhaling a chemical substance Saturday night. PouchTec Industries President Bob Jones says the substance was caused by an accidental mixing between cleaning solutions in one of their tanks.
One person was taken to the hospital after a small house fire in Foley yesterday (Tuesday). The incident happened just before 5:00 p.m. at 121 Fourth Avenue South.

After two hours of discussion, the Foley city council agreed to move forward with plans to fix a dangerous intersection in their downtown. The St. Cloud Tech girls tennis team won some hardware today (Wednesday) at the Class "AA" state tournament. The team beat Rochester Mayo 5-2 to win the Consolation Championship. In the Class "A" consolation championship match, Virginia beat Foley 5-2.
The State High School girls tennis tournament started today (Tuesday). In the Class "AA" team, St. Cloud Tech beat Delano 6-1in the consolation semi-finals. In the Class "A" team, Foley beat Minnewaska Area 4-3 in the consolation semi-finals.
