A Crosslake man will spend 11 months in jail for the traffic death of a 3-year-old boy in 2009. A Crow Wing County judge sentenced Sherman Frederick on Thursday.

The Morrison County Sheriff is investigating a deadly crash. Twenty-year-old Thomas Krivanek of Fergus Falls was making a U-turn when he was struck by a semi driven by 48-year-old Robert LeFavor of Long Prairie.

A fatal crash closed Interstate 94 in downtown Minneapolis for the morning rush. Authorities say a semi hauling used auto parts overturned inside the Lowry Hill tunnel just before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.

A Princeton woman is dead after a two vehicle crash Friday evening. The Sherburne County Sheriff's Department says 77-year-old Leona Kral died after being airlifted to a Twin Cities Hospital. The crash happened when two vehicles collided in Baldwin Township just after 6:00 p.m.

Authorities are investigating after a teenage boy crashed and died following a police chase in northern Minnesota that reached speeds of more than 100 mph. It happened early Saturday after a Beltrami County sheriff's deputy stopped a car in Bemidji.

The State Patrol has released the name of the man killed in a crash on Highway 15 near Kimball. They say 28-year-old Randolph Alamo of Watkins was killed in the collision with a semi at about 2:00 p.m. yesterday (Tuesday) near Lake Carnelian.
