St. John’s Soccer Advances; Johnnie Football Ranked #5

The St. John's soccer team defeated top seeded St. Olaf 4-1 in the MIAC tournament semifinals in Northfield Wednesday.  The Johnnies got goals from Rocky Harmon, Alex Niederloh, Paul Wageman and Zane Heinselman.  St. John's will play 2nd seeded Gustavus at 1pm in St. Peter Saturday for the MIAC title.

St. John's football is ranked #5 in the NCAA Division III West Region ranking this week.  UW-Whitewater is #1.  The Johnnies are 7-1 and will play Bethel in Collegeville Saturday at 1pm.
