St. Cloud Senator’s Bill Awaits Governor’s Signature
ST. PAUL -- If Governor Dayton signs it, an amendment to the Clean Water Land and Legacy bill would more equally distribute money to regional parks across the state.

Pederson says it removes the local match provision where a quarter of the project's funding needed to be raised before becoming eligible. It also removes a $500-thousand cap on projects. The seven county metro area weren't subject to those provisions, but greater Minnesota projects were.
