I don't know about you, but I probably visit a drive-thru window more than I'd like to admit. Sometimes, it's just for a coffee or energy drink pick-me-up and other times, it's because I'm hungry at that very moment and don't feel like waiting another hour to fix my meal.

That's where being the best at what you do, can make a difference in people's lives, right? So when you are talking fast food, I can't imagine how hard it is to try to deliver something that is completely delicious, attractive to the eye on the outside, but yet affordable enough to make a stop possibly multiple times a week.

10 fast food restaurants have been named the best of the best in the United States, by readers of USA Today, and at least half of them you can find here in central Minnesota.

ARBY'S #10

Arby's...Yeah...I'd have to agree. I pass by an Arby's every day on my way to work, and I'd have to say they have saved me from splurging at the grocery store more than once. I can always dig into a roast beef sandwich, but I like the fact that they offer such a great variety, including burgers, chicken, wraps, sandwiches, and lots more.

POPEYE'S #8

Remember the first two weeks of Popeye's when they opened for business? It was a crazy time. People were lined up outside the building and around the block just to get their hands on a chicken sandwich with that incredible sauce of theirs.

TACO BELL #7

One of the things I find most surprising but always appealing at Taco Bell, is their great customer service. They always have a happy, friendly voice to take your order. On top of that, I'd have to say that their Dorito Supreme Crunchy taco's have become a lifelong favorite of mine.

HARDEE'S #5

My boyfriend drools every morning that he passes by Hardee's, as he absolutely loves their delicious biscuits, and breakfast items in general.

CHIL-FIL-A #3

Chic-Fil-A always has a line wrapped around the building and offers a variety of dishes that include classic chicken sandwiches, and chicken nuggets. Sometimes I wonder; is it the cos mascots that keep families coming back for more?

KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN #2

Kentucky Fried Chicken?! This came to me as a bit of a surprise, but I have to say, I'm not sure any chicken recipe has ever matched Colonel Sanders' recipe. This is to me, the closest thing to getting a homemade supper on the table.
