Sartell Man Hurt in Hunting Accident in Todd County

CLARISSA - A 26-year-old Sartell man was hurt in a hunting accident in Todd County.

The Sheriff's Department says Daniel Hayes was unloading his gun, when it discharged striking him in the foot.

Hayes was taken by private party to the Staples Hospital, and later transported to St. Cloud Hospital.

The incident happened about five miles north of Clarissa, at about 6:30 p.m. Saturday.
