ST. CLOUD -- Tomorrow (Monday) kicks off National Radon Action Week which raises awareness of radon-related health problems.

Radon is a naturally-occurring, invisible and odorless radioactive gas that is the leading cause of lung cancer for non-smokers in the United States.

According to the Surgeon General, 1 in 15 American homes contains high levels of radon.

Radon will cause over 20,000 preventable cancer deaths this year, but getting your home tested for radon is simple.

National Radon Action Week goes through this Friday, the 26th.
