ALMELUND, Minn. (AP) - The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is investigating an officer-involved shooting in Chisago County.

Sheriff's officials say they received a call Sunday afternoon about a suicidal male at a home in Almelund. Tactical officers from a number of jurisdictions responded to the house.

Authorities say a SWAT team member shot the man, whose condition isn't know. He was taken to a hospital in the Twin Cities. Sheriff's investigators haven't released the circumstances that prompted the SWAT officer to shoot the man.

A news conference is scheduled for Monday morning.
