MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — President Barack Obama has scheduled a Monday trip to Minneapolis.

The White House confirmed the trip Tuesday. No other details were immediately available.

The president has unveiled major proposals in recent days on guns and immigration.

Obama hasn't visited Minnesota since June, when he toured a Honeywell International plan to talk up programs to connect veterans with jobs.
