ST. CLOUD - The red kettles may have gone away, but the Salvation Army is still racing to meet their holiday fundraising goal.

The St. Cloud branch of the Salvation Army says the kettle campaign did net $2,000 more than last year, but was $720 shy of reaching the target.

They report that their mail-in drive is also struggling, with totals $80,000 under the $220,000 goal as of Christmas Day.

The mail-in campaign wraps up at the end of January - to learn more about the Salvation Army and how you can help, visit their website.
