IT'S WE FEST TIME!

The We-Fest line-up this year is incredible. There are great acts that will entertain all ages from The Bellamy Brothers, Lonestar, and Jackson Dean, to newcomers Patrick Murphy from Perham, Minnesota, Corey Kent, and Lauren Watkins. We-Fest is happening soon and there will be some big changes at this year's event, to hopefully make it bigger and better for all attendees. Sheriff Todd Glander with the Becker County Sheriff's Office wants to ensure that people get the message; minors planning to come to the event to drink won't be tolerated.

SMOOTH AND EASY FOR THIS YEAR'S PARKING

Soo Pass Ranch in Detroit Lakes is hoping to create a smoother flow for this year's WE Fest attendees. Last year because of the "Wallen Effect," when Morgan Wallen came to the event, it created a new atmosphere of new people coming to Soo Pass Ranch, who didn't understand how parking worked. It created problems throughout the parking areas and campgrounds.

NEW PARKING, SHUTTLE, AND RIDESHARE AREAS

This year, parking will be different. There will be new Hilltop Parking and a Transit Area located one mile from the venue. There will also be new parking lots, designated areas for rideshare drop-off and pick-up points, and a shuttle that will take people to the West Gate. Yay!

NEW VIP AREAS AND DRESSING ROOMS FOR ARTISTS

Also, once you get into the event this year, there are new VIP areas, and artists who are coming to the event will be happy to know that there are new dressing rooms for them.

SAFETY AND SECURITY

Curious about safety at the event? There will be approximately 10 Becker County Deputies on hand, as well as other law enforcement officials to make sure that everyone feels safe, ensuring a great time for everyone.

The Sheriff's office says that they will be in the campgrounds as well as monitoring activity in the main concert area.

MINOR CONSUMPTION WON'T BE TOLERATED

Minors that are planning on coming to the event to drink, better think again. "We're not going to tolerate minors consuming. That's a given, and just because there are a lot of people around, that doesn't mean that we aren't going to find out who these people are, and if they're drinking or not. There's no tolerance for minors consuming," said Sheriff Todd Glander.
