SYTENNDE MAI CELEBRATION & ENTERTAINMENT

Syttende Mai is Norwegian Constitution Day which began in 1814. As part of our annual
Syttende Mai celebration, the Trollheim Lodge members will once again be hosting a
Family Walking Parade (approximately 20 minutes long). Following the parade,
attendees will gather at the shelter for the traditional Syttende Mai treat of ice cream.
Syttende Mai entertainers: following the refreshments, this year’s entertainment will feature Scandinavian storyteller and comedian, Chad Filley, known as “Minnesota’s Best Kept Comedy Secret.” Chad has performed for more than two decades and hails from Cambridge, MN. Along with Chad will be the music and comedy of “Ole” impersonator, Bruce Danielson. Bruce is an author of several Ole and Lena joke books and also lives in Cambridge, MN.

Registration for the parade will be at 12:45 p.m. at the Riverside Park Shelter (1800
Kilian Blvd). This event is open and free to the public.
