Do you like crazy pizzas?  There are strange ingredients on some pizzas.  There has always been the debate with pineapple.  I personally like it.  Pineapple is great grilled, if you have never tried that, you should.  But I feel the same way with pineapple on pizza.  Not sure any other fruit would taste good when it's warm.  Pineapple is yummy.

But this pizza from Zorbaz Pizza, has been named as one of the best pizzas in the world... WORLD by the New York Times.

This particular pizza was hand picked.by staff members from the New York Times.

We combed through over a thousand responses, recapping the experiences of readers' favorite slices, nostalgic pies and of course, their version of 'the best'

The pizza in question is called the Lowden and has been named for the creator, Kenny Lowden.  It has some odd ingredients.  Pepperoni (not odd) Zorbaz pizza sauce (not odd), Jalapenos (a little odd) and finally, PEANUT BUTTER!  That's odd, at least in my book it is.

Does this sound good to you?  Have you tried it?  I'm a bit of a skeptic in general, but I would give it a whirl.  It sounds so weird to me, that I would have to give it a try just "because".

From Bring Me the News:

A submission from NYT reader Conor Rayl, of Las Vegas, put Minnesota Lakes Country on the map with a mention of the original Zorbaz. '

"It's the greatest Mexican-Italian pizza joint in the world," the article states. "It is also right on the lake."

This one was from the Detroit Lakes location.  There are 11 Zorbaz locations, and the closest one to St. Cloud would probably be the location in Alexandria or the location in Spicer depending on where you actually live in the St. Cloud area.
