WILLMAR (AP) - A jury in Kandiyohi County has convicted a man of second-degree murder but acquitted him of first-degree murder in a fatal farm confrontation.

Jurors Tuesday found 47-year-old Timothy Huber guilty of two counts of second-degree murder, but not guilty of first-degree premeditated murder.

Huber was on trial for the death of Timothy Larson at the victim's family's farm in rural Belgrade in 2011. Larson had ordered Huber and his father to remove their farm equipment from the Larson property before he was fatally shot.

Huber's father, Delbert, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and admitted he shot and killed Larson. The elder Huber was sentenced to more than 30 years in prison.

Prosecutors also will seek more than 30 years in prison for Timothy Huber.
