ST. CLOUD -- The Minnesota Department of Transportation has canceled plans to reduce traffic to a single lane in each direction on Highway 15 in St. Cloud. The 24-hour, seven-day-per-week closures were to begin Sunday evening.

Crews will still be reducing traffic to a single lane in each direction during overnight hours along certain sections of the highway.  Those overnight closures will be from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. until further notice.

The closures are part of the resurfacing project between Highway 23 and Benton Drive in Sauk Rapids. The entire project is slated to finish in mid-August.
