ST. CLOUD -- We're finally starting to pay less at the gas pump.

Prices have started to slide because of several factors including...refineries coming back online after breakdowns, the end of the summer travel season and a switch to winter blend fuels.

Triple-A Minnesota's Gail Weinholzer says prices could even drop another quarter or so in the next few weeks.  She says it's tough to predict accurately because of tensions in the Middle East and the possibility of late season hurricanes.  But, she says further price drops look promising.

Here in St. Cloud, we're paying about $3.50 a gallon, compared to $3.74 a gallon in places like California.
