Fun Friday: Fling Golf at Pebble Creek [VIDEO]

BECKER -- This week in Fun Friday, we head out to Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker to try fling golf.

Fling golf, a new sport that fuses golf with lacrosse, just began popping up at golf courses around the country recently. Course director Troy Malo says it gives people another fun way to enjoy Pebble Creek.

"You tee off from the same area when you play golf," Malo says. "You work your way down the fairway and use the same hole you would if you were playing regular golf -- except you don't have a whole bag to carry, all you got is your FlingStick."

It takes a little bit to get used to, but the sport of fling golf gives a fun and interesting spin on golf while being available to all ages and skill levels.
