Eden Valley-Watkins Soars Into Football Semifinals 29-12

BRAINERD -- The Eagles season continues as they held off Royalton Royals 29-12 in Class 2A state quarterfinals Friday night.

After a slow start the Eagles did most of their damage in the second half scoring 15 unanswered points.

Eden Valley-Watkins quarterback Reese Jansen threw for 131 yards in the win.

The Eagles move on to face Maple River in the semifinals at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
