When you are a kid, you get gifts, toys, things that you may or may not like, things that you may or may not play with, and eventually they are packed away as you get older, and usually donated.

I'm thinking from now on, any special edition thing you may see might be worth the time to buy and pack it away.  Regardless of your age.  Even if you have an old toy from a Happy Meal or something.

There are so many vintage toys that are worth so much money. If you actually kept it, and didn't give it away, sell it at a garage sale, or just donate it, you could have some significant money coming your way.  That is, if you find the right buyer/collector.

There is a list of toys dating back to the 50s and 60s, and as recent as the 90s that are worth a lot of money. Most are just a few thousand dollars, but there are a couple that are worth a million dollars.  Yeah, A MILLION DOLLARS!

If you happen to have an original Tetris game - the Sega version from 1988, that thing was originally $20.  Now could be sold to a collector for a million dollars.  Crazy.

The Japanese game company Sega began publishing Tetris, one of the world’s most popular computer games, in 1988. This arcade game was the basis for tons of other related games, both licensed and unlicensed, that would sweep the internet for decades to come.

The original Sega version of Tetris, released in 1988, has three buttons that can be tapped quickly, almost in a clockwise rotation form. The Sega game has a playfield dimension of 10” by 20,” and there are no hard drop or wall kick implementations with it. This original Sega version, if it is truly a G1, can be worth up to $1 million.

There was one other toy that was worth a couple hundred thousand dollars, and another worth a million bucks.  Most are worth a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars.  Start checking the attic!
