David Michael Mohr, 61, Boston, MA

David Michael Mohr, 61, of Boston, MA, died August 12, 2014. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, October 18, 2014 at Motley United Methodist Church in Motley, MN. Family and friends are invited to gather in the Fellowship Hall beginning at noon. Interment will follow a reception at 3:30 PM, at Motley Public Cemetery.

David was born February 5, 1953, in Coon Rapids, MN, the son of Myron L. and Beverly (Morrow) Mohr. His parents and his grandparents, Harry and Esther Morrow and August and Louise Mohr were all from the Staples/Motley Area. David grew up in Mankato and received a degree in business from the University of Minnesota. He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company, Inc. and Caterpillar Overseas, S. A. His job required him to travel extensively and he was able to live in a number of locations: Geneva, Switzerland; Paris, France; Abidjan, Ivory Coast; Rome, Italy; Kobe, Japan; Grenoble, France; and Leicester, England. In 1983, he married Dorothy Niemann Krueger in Paris, France.

David will be missed by his wife, Dorothy; godson, Gildas; numerous cousins in the Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Texas and Colorado as well as Dorothy’s sons, Frederick and Richard.
