Coborn’s Helps Children Make Healthy Choices [VIDEO]

FOLEY - Coborn's stores hosted an outdoor kid's event today,"Fuel Up to Play 60". The event featured activities, games, and prizes for children who participated.

Fuel Up to Play 60 is a school wellness program that encourages youth to exercise at least 60 minutes a day and make healthy eating choices.

This event was a way of showing kids just how many fun ways there are to exercise, with a wide variety of activities available.

The Foley fire and police departments assisted with the event, participating in games with the kids.

Coborn's stores will also be awarding $30,000 in scholarships to schools in their communities that promote healthy life style choices for students. The scholarship grants will be awarded in October. More information can be found on the scholarships at Coborns.com
