Child, 2, Pulled From Pool in West-Central Minnesota

NEW LONDON, Minn. (AP) - Authorities in west-central Minnesota say a 2-year-old child was flown to a Twin Cities hospital after being pulled from a pool.

The Kandiyohi (kan-dee-YOH'-hye) County sheriff's office was called to a near-drowning in a pool near New London around 4:15 p.m. Friday.

The child was flown by helicopter to a metro hospital. The child's condition is unknown.
