Horses are being used to help adults in recovery from addiction, Veterans and children with special needs. Horses are known to help in rehabilitation by helping establish trust between the horse and those who need a helping hand. Working with horses also helps in learning boundaries, control their impulses and even open up about their emotions.

When she was younger, she did therapy where she rode horses a few days a week and she loved it. It grew her love of animals and helped in her developing confidence. So, I’ve seen firsthand how this therapy helps.
