One of the best times of the year the Minnesota State Fair kicks off the weekend and will run through Labor Day. Also there are a couple music in the park series coming to and end this weekend so be sure to check those out.
Tonight marks the final concert in the Summertime By George series. The Fabulous Armadillos will be taking the stage at 6:30 p.m. Opening for the show will be Walter's Wheelhouse. They take the stage at 5:00 p.m.

This is Chris Hawkey's fourth time headlining Summertime by George, and this time he is bringing some of his new music to the stage. His latest album, Country Underneath, just came out this year and Hawkey says he'll be playing every song off that album at the concert. He'll be taking the stage at 6:30 p.m.
