A 23-year-old Minneapolis man says he was robbed at gunpoint while sitting in his vehicle in south St. Cloud. The victim says the incident happened at about 8:15 p.m. last (Wednesday) night in the 800 block of 13th Street South.

A man who was stopped for running a red light ended-up getting arrested. St. Cloud police stopped 20-year-old Curtis Marshik of St. Cloud just before midnight last (Wednesday) night at the intersection of East St. Germain and Riverside Drive Northeast.

A Minnesota man, released from death row in Ohio, is back behind bars. Kenneth Richey is accused of threatened staff at the Crow Wing County detox center. Police say an intoxicated Richey was taken to the detox center in Brainerd Saturday night. Officers were called back to the center after staff members reported the threats. The 46-year-old Richey is being held in the Crow Wing County Jail.

The St. Cloud police department investigated a couple of burglaries over the weekend. First, officers were called to the 500 block of 12th Street South just after 11:00 p.m. on Saturday. Then, at about 5:00 a.m. on Sunday, police were called to the 5800 block of Sandy Drive for a burglary.

A 22-year-old Clearwater man is in the Benton County Jail. St. Cloud police arrested Timothy Gilles just after 11:30 last (Wednesday) night at the Thrifty Motel at 14th Avenue Northeast.

A 31-year-old St. Cloud man has been arrested for allegedly trying to strangle is girlfriend. The 40-year-old victim told police she was attacked by Charles Rainey.

St. Cloud police have arrested a St. Cloud man, accused of assaulting his roommate.

A sentencing date has been set in Minnesota for the former nurse who used the Internet to encourage two people to kill themselves. William Melchert-Dinkel is scheduled to appear in Rice County District Court on May 4 to learn his sentence.

An investigation at St. Cloud Hospital is underway following the development of an unusual blood infection in 23 patients, all in the same hospital ward. Linda Chmielewski, the Vice President of Hospital Operations for St. Cloud Hospital, says the infection is believed to have been caused by a nurse piping narcotic pain killers from patients' IV bags.

An update for you on the armed robbery that happened last (Tuesday) night at the Casey's General Store in Waite Park. Police are now saying the man who robbed the store on 10th Avenue South at gunpoint is the same man who held-up the store on February 24th.
