Casting For A Cure To Raise Money For Cancer Research
SARTELL -- Hundreds of anglers and families will gather at the Blue Line Bar and Grill in Sartell tomorrow for the 3rd annual Casting for a Cure event.
It's an event where participants fish their favorite lake or river in search of the biggest catch and largest limit of fish. The anglers record their catch in an official Casting for a Cure angling log with digital photos then release the fish. The fishermen return to the Blue line at 4:00 to check in. Prizes are awarded to the winners.
There will also be inflatables for kids, a casting contest, fish decorating crafts and face painting. The events are open to the public.
Last year, Casting for a Cure raised more than $20-thousand for cancer research.
