BECKER -- It was a dominating finish to what was an impressive season for the Becker Bulldogs who captured the Class 4A title yesterday (Friday) 35-14 against South St. Paul at TCF Bank Stadium.

The Bulldogs got off to a fast start driving the ball 97 yards down the field for a one-yard touchdown run by senior Beau Pauly.

They would go on to scored three more touchdowns before the half, including a 77-yard bomb from senior quarterback Andrew Stanger to fellow senior Clayton Gallus to go up 28-0 at halftime.

South Saint Paul would find the endzone twice in the second half, but it didn't matter as the Bulldogs defense stood strong and the offense punched in another score for the final 35-14 victory.

Stanger threw for 219 yards and a touchdown and the team totaled over 400 yards of total offense.

This is Beckers second-straight state title
