Becker Man Pulls Off Surprise Christmas Gift For Fiance [PHOTOS]

ST. CLOUD --Finding that right Christmas gift for that special someone is never easy, but one Becker man may have found just the right one.

For the last few weeks Jared Brigmon has been working on buying the store Bling, located inside the mall, to give to his finance.

"When I first heard about it I thought it was a joke," says Bling owner Joy Brandt. "He said this was her favorite store and wanted to buy it for her and give it as a Christmas present."

Brandt, whose lease on the store is up at the end of January, says Brigmon stopped by the store last night (Tuesday) to give her the money and told her of his plan.

"He is such a sweet man, I thought it was so cute," says Brandt.

Earlier this (Wednesday) afternoon, Brigmon, his fiance Misty Maurer and their kids came into the store where Maurer opened a gift holding the keys to the store.

"I was shocked. I had no idea this was happening," says Maurer. "He (Brigmon) just said we needed to be at the store at this time, but I wasn't expecting this."

"I barley pulled it off, but it all worked out," says Brigmon. "I just wanted to give her something she could run and call her own."

Maurer, with tears of joy running down her face, says she couldn't believe he was able to pull this off and adds she can't wait to get started.
