Ambulance Crashes Enroute to Hospital

WAITE PARK -- A crash between a car and an ambulance delayed a patient's trip to the hospital, but did not injure her.

Waite Park Police were called to the intersection of Stearns County Road 75 and 28th Avenue just before 10:00 this morning.

A Melrose Ambulance with its lights and siren on was traveling through the intersection on a red light when it struck a car turning left through the intersection.

A Gold Cross Ambulance was called to finish transporting the patient to St. Cloud Hospital.

No one was hurt.
