ST. CLOUD - The United Way of Central Minnesota has begun a national search for their next leader.

With the departure of Noreen Dunnells on January 20th, the organization has appointed Greg Vandal as interim CEO.

Vandal says the search committee has received a couple dozen applicants since the position was posted. They're expected to stop taking applicants at some point next week to begin whittling the list down for phone interviews.

Vandal says the committee is very in touch with the kind of CEO they're looking for, and is very capable of making the right choice.

The position is expected to be filled by the beginning to the middle of May.
