Toddler Missing from Elk River Campground

ELK RIVER, Minn. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a 2-year-old girl who went missing from a campground in Elk River.

The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office says Daisy Jo Holland disappeared around 8 p.m. Friday from Wapiti Park campground. Elk River police say she was playing with other children while parents set up camp - and then she was suddenly gone.

Sheriff's officials say they are conducting ground and water searches. Dogs have tracked her scent to the edge of the Elk River.

Daisy Jo is described as 2 feet tall and 30 pounds, with shoulder length blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a pink "Hello Kitty" shirt.
