Several Hurt, One Critical After Pickup Plows Through Zimmerman Business

ZIMMERMAN -- A pickup driving through a building has left at least one person critically injured in Zimmerman Monday afternoon.

Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott says the incident happened around 1:00 p.m. at Reliant Systems off Fremont Avenue. The pickup's driver was heading east on fremont when he left the road and slammed into the building where employees were working.

The vehicle kept going around 30-40 feet into the building before it stopped.

Two inside the business were airlifted from the scene, another two were taken to the hospital. The driver suffered minor injuries.

Authorities suspect alcohol was involved in the incident. No names have been released at this time.
