CLEAR LAKE -- One woman was arrested and one man is still on the run after a chase in Sherburne County Thursday morning.

Sheriff Joel Brott says around 11:30 a.m., a deputy found an SUV reported stolen out of St. Cloud. The vehicle eventually drove to a home in the 8800 block of 71st Street in Clear Lake Township.

The driver of the stolen SUV, 38-year old Jeremiah Schwarzkopf ignored police commands and fled along 71st Street. Schwarzkopf eventually drove into a cornfield, then across County Road 55 and into another field before crashing into a tree line.

Deputies set up a perimeter and were unable to locate Schwarzkopf or the woman who was seen running from the SUV after the crash.

Friday morning the Sheriff's Office received a call from a homeowner in the 7200 block of 100th Avenue Southeast of a suspicious person. Deputies arrived and arrested 24-year-old Victoria Miller who deputies believe was Schwarzkopf's passenger.

Anyone with information on Schwarzkopf's whereabouts is asked to call the Sherburne County Sheriff's Office at 763-765-3500.
