Students at St. Cloud Cathedral High School held a special prayer service this (Monday) evening. The "Peace Day" service, put on by the Campus Ministry Group, is a way to promote peace in the world and throughout Central Minnesota .
The St. Cloud Cathedral baseball team wrapped up their 2015 season undefeated and capturing its second straight Class 2A state championship defeating Minnehaha Academy 10 -1. The Crusaders trailed after the first inning 1-0 but starting pitcher Brindley Theisen settled down and his offense rewarded him with ten unanswered runs. St. Cloud's offense continued to pour it on, scoring seven runs in the final two innings
The St. Cloud Apollo Eagles boys' hockey team won the Section 6A Championship by a score of 4-2 over the St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders in a hard-fought championship game that was close until the very end.
