Hundreds Show Support For Cathedral Dance Team [VIDEO]

ST. CLOUD -- The St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaderettes held their annual dance show fundraiser today.

Hundreds came out to show their support - from parents to members of the community, along with dance teams from schools around the area.

Coach Molly Kensy is in her fourth year with the team and first year as head coach.

Kensy says she appreciates all the support shown by everybody in attendance.

"The support is great...[the fundraiser] really does impact our team," Kensy says.

The dance show helps to raise funds for new costumes and other things necessary to keep the team competitive each year.

"It's really beneficial and we're very grateful for all of [those] who come out and support us."

Kensy says the team's aspirations are high this year.

"We have some pretty big goals this year going into the season," Kensy says.

"We've constantly been working our way up...we're hoping to final in both [sections and the state tournament] this year and we'll see where it goes from there."
