ST. CLOUD - You can learn more about U.S.-China relations tonight (Thursday) with a "China Town Hall". The event is at St. Cloud Cathedral's Holy Angels Auditorium. It starts at 6:00 p.m. with a live webcast hosted by former President Jimmy Carter.

Cathedral social studies teacher Dick McMorrow says he wanted to bring the Town Hall to St. Cloud after spending a month in China on a Fulbright Fellowship.

He says we still have a lot to learn about the country, and its people.

McMorrow says the Chinese people he met were all very open and welcoming.

This is the 8th annual "China Town Hall", but it's the first time the event has been held here in Central Minnesota. Tonight's event is free and it's open to everyone.
