Early Fall Snowstorm Cuts Power, Slows Travel
An early fall snowstorm plunged residents of northern Minnesota back into winter-like conditions, slowed travel and caused power outages. Wet, heavy snow pulled down power lines and temporarily cut service to 6,500 Xcel Energy customers in the Moorhead area early Thursday.

The National Weather Service says snow is on the way for Saturday. A line from Morris to St. Cloud has the best chance for snow and a Winter Weather Advisory might be needed at some point.

Snow In The Forecast For Tonight
Rain will mix with and change to snow over the rest of the area during the evening. Accumulations could reach around thee inches north of a line from St. Cloud to Cambridge, with lesser amounts elsewhere.

NWS: More Snow On The Way
The National Weather Service is expecting another snowstorm to hit Minnesota this week. They say accumulating snow is possible on Tuesday night and throughout the day on Wednesday.
